1. Using the website

Provide accurate information and use only accounts and property details you are authorised to manage. Keep your login details private and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not misuse the forms, interfere with the website or attempt to access another customer’s information.

The website is intended for people who can enter a binding agreement, or who have an authorised adult or business representative acting for them.

2. Enquiries, assessments and service work

Sending an enquiry or using the solar calculator does not confirm a booking, price or installation. We confirm the scope, price, payment schedule and timing of service work in a written quotation or agreement. Site conditions, access, weather and product availability can affect the work; changes should be agreed with you before additional work is charged.

Any specific terms in your accepted quotation or service agreement apply to that job alongside these terms. They do not remove rights that the law gives you.

3. Solar products, prices and payment

The solar shop identifies prices in Jamaican dollars (JMD) or US dollars (USD). Check your selected currency, products, quantities, delivery details, applicable taxes and delivery charges before confirming payment. Payment is processed through Stripe; we do not receive your full card number or card security code.

A payment confirmation records your purchase. Delivery timing and any installation appointment must be confirmed separately. If an item is unavailable or an order cannot be fulfilled, we will contact you to arrange an agreed alternative or a refund where appropriate; we will not substitute products without your agreement.

4. Delivery and installation

Provide a delivery address and contact number where you can receive the goods. Contact us before ordering if you need a particular delivery date or have access restrictions. Delivery arrangements depend on the product and location; no standard delivery time is promised on this page.

Equipment prices do not include installation unless expressly stated. Selecting “I want this installed” requests a separate installation quotation. Site assessment, installer availability and your acceptance of that quotation are required before installation proceeds.

5. Returns, deposits and warranties

Read our Returns & cancellations policy before ordering or paying a deposit. We do not accept change-of-mind returns or refund deposits because a customer changes their mind, except where required by law. Faulty items are assessed for repair or exchange, without limiting any other remedy required by law.

Manufacturer warranty coverage and duration depend on the product. Ask us for the warranty applicable to your item. These terms do not exclude a manufacturer warranty or statutory protection.

6. Website information and images

Solar sizing results are estimates based on the information you enter, not a final electrical design or a guarantee of output, savings or suitability. A qualified installer must assess the actual site and equipment requirements. Product specifications should be checked before purchase.

Website text, branding and images belong to us or their respective rights holders; contact us before reproducing them for commercial use.

7. Privacy and communication

Our Privacy policy explains how we use personal information. Sending an enquiry allows us to respond about that enquiry; it is not a subscription to unrelated marketing. Contact us if you wish to change how we communicate with you.

8. Problems and applicable law

Contact us with your order or quotation reference and a description of the problem so we can investigate. Jamaican law applies, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, refunds or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these website terms by changing the effective date. Changes do not retroactively replace the terms already agreed for an existing order or job.
